Statecraft Corrupted Democracy
Statecraft Corrupted Democracy is a political party management game that puts you in the shoes of a political party leader, allowing you to guide and role-play the destiny of your country and party. Managing a political party, making critical decisions to shape your ideology, and steering the nation make for an exhilarating experience. Your goal is to first become the leader of the country and then navigate through various challenges to reach one of dozens of possible outcomes.
In developing our game, we drew inspiration from the political turmoil of specific countries in the 1970s and 80s. These periods of upheaval and significant change helped shape the underlying atmosphere of the game. Statecraft is a turn-based, event-driven game where each turn presents events based on the current state of the country. Make strategic decisions by leveraging the power of your party's members to influence the fate of your nation and party. Additionally, different choices, city actions, and intrigues provide an experience that reveals the true face of politicians!

Players can manipulate regions on the map to play with the power dynamics of other parties or different demographics within the country. Similarly, they can manipulate these power balances by making specific decisions or by interacting with the monthly events. The primary objective is to first take control of the country and then strive for an ideological outcome of their choosing.
Statecraft is ideal for players who enjoy strategy and political genres or individuals interested in politics and role-playing within a political context.
The player begins as the leader of a political party. In the second phase of the game, using options such as coup, winning elections, causing civil wars, or influencing government selection, they ascend to lead the nation. In the final phase, the player guides the country toward the chosen outcome, concluding the game.
